Ron holds the rank of Full Instructor in Jun Fan Gung Fu (Jeet Kune Do) Under Sifu Dan Inosanto. Sifu Inosanto is the only living man certified in Jeet Kune Do directly under Bruce Lee.

Ron holds a Full Instructorship in Filipino Kali under Guro Dan Inosanto. Ron has also trained under Filipino martial arts master such as Christopher Ricketts, Leo Giron, Angel Cabales, Dinisio Canete, and Ted Lucay Lucay.

Ron is ranked Senior Assistant Instructor under the late Punong Guro Edgar Sulite. Ron trained with PG Sulite since 1989 and was one of his closest friends. He assisted PG Sulite in making his Espada y Daga training video.

Ron holds a Maphilindo Silat full instructor rank level 4 under Guro Dan Inosanto. Maphilindo Silat is made up of Indonesian Silat and Filipino Kali systems compiled in to a comprehensive, well rounded system. Systems that make up Maphilindo Silat are, Filipino Kali (Suntokan, Sikaron, Buno, Pekiti Tershia), Bukti Negara, Serak, Mande Muda, Kari, Hari Mau, Ber Silat, Kune Tao Silat.Ron Balicki has trained under, Guro Dan Inosanto, Guro Larry Lindenmann, Pendekar Herman Suwanda, Guro Rita Suwanda, Pendekar Akiat, Pendekar Paul De Thouras, Maha Guro Victor De Thouras, Guro Ted Lucay Lucay.

Muay Thai also know as Thai Boxing. This amazing art is often referred to as the art of 8 limbs because it's use of the elbows and knees in conjunction with kicks and punches. Ron earned his instructorship under Ajarn (Master) Chai Surisute, having worked together for over 25 years. Ron is also an instructor in the World Muay Thai Association.

The Degerberg blend martial art system is a compilation of martial arts styles developed by Sensei Fred Degerberg. Ron is a 7th degree black belt in the Degerberg System of Martial Arts.

Latigo y Daga (Whip and Dagger) system is a Filipino based flexable weapons system. Ron is an instructor under Whip expert, Guro Tom Meadows. Ron also has extensive training under Master Anthony De Longis.

BOXE FRANCAISE SAVATE
Ron is a Silver glove, instructors rank in Savate. Ron studied under world class instructors Nicoli Sagnaic, Fred Degerberg and Roger Luri. Ron won the 1996 Southern California Boxe Franaise Savate Championship Tournament.

Ron is an Instructor under Sifu Randy Williams, as well as co-founder with Sifu Williams of the first Close Range Combat Academy in Chicago, Illinois. Ron also trained extensively with Sifu Francis Fong.

Ron holds the rank of Shooter (Professional Fighter) under Sensei Yori Nakamura, the highest ranked person under the founder Sensei Satora Sayama, Ron has had several middle weight division professional fights in Japan.
