The art presented by Guro Ron Balicki in the instructional video tape "The Defensive Edge is nationally known as "Cadena De Mano". It's a series of defense movements against many different types of knife attack. It's an outstanding exercise for the eyes, hands, body movement, and feet. This video is a great training tool for the continual communication between the body and brain.

You will notice also that the placement of the feet insures a perfect balance. After all, when a person attempts to take another person's life, the opponent must do his best to stay unharmed. Coordination of both hands and proper placement of the feet are most essential to achieve a successful self defense.
